Support when it's needed most
Counselling, therapy, and mental health training supports are incredible tools for helping those who struggle with their mental health. But what if you need help right now? What if you need support at 2am? Where do you turn?
There are a number of mental health charities out there that provide trained volunteers who will take your call, and for many people this support is invaluable, but what if you need to speak to a trained therapist. What if you're coming from a high risk or unique sector, where inside knowledge of the challenges you're facing would be essential to giving you the best support? That's why in 2027 we're launching our unique 24/7 helpline service specifically for veterans, farmers, students and care workers.
Supporting those most at risk
Our 24/7 helpline will be managed by trained therapists, who are not only highly skilled in providing support, but will also understand the challenges that are faced by veterans, farmers, students and care workers.
These are four demographics that not only face unique risk factors for their mental health, have higher than average instances of poor mental health and suicide, but are also likely to need support at hours where other support services are unable to provide support.
Why 24/7 Human Support Matters More Than Ever
Another important reason we believe 24/7 support lines are needed is because people are increasingly turning to AI for emotional support, simply because it is available instantly, day or night.
At Carecoins, we do not support or approve of AI being used as a therapist. We believe real emotional support should come from real, trained and qualified humans — people who can listen properly, understand risk, respond with care, and offer safe, ethical support.
AI may be available 24/7, 365 days a year, but that does not mean it should replace human care. In fact, it shows why a proper human alternative is so urgently needed.
Our vision is to create 24/7 support lines staffed by qualified BACP therapists and supported by student therapists, so that when someone reaches out in a difficult moment, they are met by a real person — not a chatbot, not a script, and not an algorithm.
Care should always be human-to-human.

Our team of expert counsellors and therapists are all members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and are hand vetted for their skills, experience and passion to support those most in need. They have been upskilled to understand the pressures and realities of veterans, students, farmers and care workers, and to be able to use the terminology that helps build trust with those most in need.

Our goal is to launch specialist 24/7 support lines from 2027 across our key Carecoins Community pillars: farming, students, veterans and careworkers.
We are raising funds to create real human-to-human support lines, led by trained and qualified therapists — not AI, chatbots or unqualified volunteers.
Every contribution helps us build a 24/7 alternative for people who need support at any time of day or night.
